Terms of Service

Welcome to Unjob.ai (“Unjob”, “Platform”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform, including all services, products, subscriptions, software, applications, communications, content, and transactions made available through Unjob.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old,
  • have legal capacity to enter binding contracts,
  • provide accurate and complete information,
  • and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Unjob reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate eligibility requirements.

2. Nature of Platform

Unjob is a technology marketplace platform that enables:

  • freelancers to offer services and digital products,
  • clients to hire freelancers,
  • users to purchase subscriptions,
  • and businesses to post freelance opportunities.

Freelancers on the Platform are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Unjob.

Unjob does not guarantee:

  • project outcomes,
  • freelancer availability,
  • uninterrupted service,
  • business success,
  • revenue generation,
  • or suitability of services for specific purposes.

3. User Accounts

Users may create accounts as:

  • freelancers,
  • hiring parties,
  • buyers,
  • or clients.

Users may switch between freelancer and hiring accounts where Platform functionality allows.

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining account security,
  • protecting login credentials,
  • all activity conducted through their account,
  • and ensuring submitted information remains accurate.

Users may not:

  • impersonate others,
  • create fake accounts,
  • share accounts,
  • sell accounts,
  • or use automated systems to manipulate Platform activity.

4. KYC & Verification

Unjob may require mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) verification for:

  • receiving bookings,
  • listing services,
  • posting freelance jobs,
  • withdrawing earnings,
  • accessing premium features,
  • or participating in certain transactions.

Users may be required to submit:

  • government-issued identification,
  • PAN,
  • Aadhaar,
  • GST details,
  • bank information,
  • selfies,
  • or business verification documents.

Unjob reserves the right to:

  • approve or reject verification requests,
  • request additional information,
  • restrict Platform access,
  • hold payouts,
  • or suspend accounts for failed or incomplete verification.

5. Services & Transactions

The Platform may include:

  • service bookings,
  • custom service bookings,
  • freelance job postings,
  • digital products,
  • subscriptions,
  • and related marketplace features.

All transactions conducted through the Platform are subject to:

  • Platform fees,
  • commissions,
  • taxes,
  • payment gateway charges,
  • dispute adjustments,
  • and applicable policies.

Users authorize Unjob to facilitate collection, processing, holding, and disbursement of payments related to Platform transactions.

6. Payments & Payouts

6.1 Clients may be required to make full advance payment before project initiation.

6.2 Freelancers become eligible for withdrawals only after:

  • project approval by the client,
  • automatic completion under Platform workflow,
  • or manual approval by Unjob administration.

6.3 Unjob reserves the right to:

  • hold payouts,
  • delay withdrawals,
  • reverse transactions,
  • deduct penalties,
  • recover chargebacks,
  • or suspend payment activity where fraud, disputes, policy violations, or suspicious activity are detected.

6.4 Users are solely responsible for:

  • taxes,
  • GST obligations,
  • invoicing,
  • regulatory compliance,
  • and financial reporting applicable to their transactions.

7. Subscriptions

Certain features may require paid subscriptions.

Subscriptions may:

  • renew automatically,
  • be monthly or annual,
  • and remain active until canceled.

Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required under applicable law.

Users may cancel future renewals at any time.

8. Platform Fees & Commission

Unjob may charge:

  • service fees,
  • commissions,
  • listing fees,
  • subscription fees,
  • withdrawal fees,
  • advertising fees,
  • or transaction fees.

Platform pricing, commission structures, and payout percentages may be modified at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated pricing structures.

9. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • violate laws or regulations,
  • engage in fraud,
  • manipulate reviews or rankings,
  • harass other users,
  • abuse refunds or disputes,
  • upload malicious files,
  • impersonate others,
  • bypass Platform payments,
  • scrape data,
  • or interfere with Platform functionality.

Users shall not use the Platform for:

  • unlawful activity,
  • misleading promotions,
  • scams,
  • or harmful community behavior.

10. Prohibited Content

Users are prohibited from uploading, distributing, requesting, selling, or promoting:

  • NSFW or sexually explicit material,
  • pornography,
  • exploitative content,
  • hateful or discriminatory material,
  • graphic violence,
  • illegal products or services,
  • copyrighted material without authorization,
  • malware,
  • fraudulent content,
  • or any content that may directly or indirectly harm the Platform, users, or broader community.

Unjob may use automated systems and manual moderation to detect and remove prohibited content.

Violations may result in:

  • content removal,
  • payout holds,
  • account suspension,
  • permanent bans,
  • or legal reporting where required.

11. Off-Platform Transactions

Users are prohibited from:

  • soliciting off-platform payments,
  • bypassing Platform commissions,
  • redirecting transactions outside Unjob,
  • or attempting to avoid Platform fees.

Unjob is not responsible for:

  • disputes,
  • losses,
  • fraud,
  • or damages arising from off-platform transactions.

Violations may result in:

  • permanent suspension,
  • ranking reduction,
  • withheld payouts,
  • legal action,
  • or account termination.

12. Communication & Chat Retention

Unjob may provide communication tools including chats, attachments, project submissions, and support systems.

Project-related chats and communication records may be automatically deleted within 7 days after project completion.

Users are responsible for saving important information before deletion.

Unjob may not be able to recover deleted communications.

Only communications conducted within the Platform may be considered valid evidence during disputes.

13. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of content they legally create and upload.

By uploading content to the Platform, users grant Unjob a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • host,
  • display,
  • reproduce,
  • distribute,
  • market,
  • and operate such content for Platform functionality and promotional purposes.

Users represent that they own or have rights to uploaded content.

Unjob is not responsible for user copyright violations.

14. Reviews & Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings based on genuine transaction experiences.

Reviews must not:

  • contain false claims,
  • include harassment,
  • manipulate reputation,
  • or violate laws.

Unjob reserves the right to remove or moderate reviews at its discretion.

15. Refunds & Disputes

All refunds, cancellations, disputes, and chargebacks are governed by the Refund Policy available on the Platform.

Once a project is completed and approved:

  • refunds are generally not available,
  • and disputes must be raised within 2 working days from project completion.

After expiry of the dispute window, transactions may be deemed final.

16. Account Suspension & Termination

Unjob reserves the right to:

  • suspend,
  • restrict,
  • disable,
  • or permanently terminate accounts at its discretion where users:
    • violate policies,
    • engage in fraud,
    • abuse the Platform,
    • create legal risk,
    • harm community integrity,
    • or breach these Terms.

Unjob may withhold payouts during investigations.

17. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services including:

  • payment gateways,
  • analytics providers,
  • cloud hosting services,
  • KYC providers,
  • and external tools.

Unjob is not responsible for third-party systems, services, outages, or policies.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unjob shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses,
  • business interruption,
  • data loss,
  • missed profits,
  • freelancer misconduct,
  • project dissatisfaction,
  • delayed deliveries,
  • third-party actions,
  • or consequential damages.

Unjob’s total liability relating to any dispute shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the disputed transaction.

19. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unjob, its founders, employees, affiliates, partners, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, and legal costs arising from:

  • user conduct,
  • uploaded content,
  • policy violations,
  • disputes,
  • infringement claims,
  • or unlawful activity.

20. Force Majeure

Unjob shall not be liable for delays, failures, or interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control including:

  • natural disasters,
  • internet failures,
  • cyberattacks,
  • strikes,
  • government restrictions,
  • pandemics,
  • or infrastructure outages.

21. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy available on the Platform.

By using Unjob, users consent to collection and processing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

22. Modifications to Terms

Unjob reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

23. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.
